Palm Islands

These are the artificial islands that have become symbols of Dubai and of the dizzying growth that its construction sector has experienced in recent decades. They are part of the group of commercial and residential infrastructure projects funded by the Sheikhs of the Emirates. They are located off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, in the Persian Gulf, and their construction required the creation of new land that added to the city about 900 kilometers of coastline. Their architecture is undoubtedly impressive and is worth a visit if you can afford to stay in a hotel along the islands.

365 churches….the ornaments of Ios!
