Parc de la Ciutadella is also home to the city’s zoo, the Catalan Parliament, and the Museum of Natural Sciences.
La Rambla Pedestrian Street
La Rambla is a pedestrian street in the heart of Barcelona that connects the Plaza de Catalunya with the Statue of Christopher Columbus. The length of the sidewalk is 1.2 km and is the classic walk that tourists and locals like to take. Along the sidewalk, the street is covered with many trees and every day la Rambla is full of tourists and street artists, offering outdoor performances.
Camp Nou Stadium
The Camp Nou Stadium, which in Catalan means “New Stadium”, is the seat of the Barcelona football team. It has a capacity of 99,354 spectators and stands out for its warm atmosphere. If you don’t manage to visit it during a football match, the Camp Nou now functions also as a football museum, as you can take a tour of its interior and therefore, you can get to know the whole history of the team and see the trophy cabinet.
Aquarium Barcelona
The Barcelona Aquarium is the largest marine park in the Mediterranean and the second largest in the world. It is housed in a very beautiful building which hosts the most representative species of marine life. In addition to the tanks that house 450 different species of fish, there are very nice halls for hosting children’s parties, as well as restaurants and cafes for adults.
