Dubai is one of the seven Emirates and is home to the city of the homonymous name, with a population of 1.469.330 inhabitants and is considered the largest of the United Arab Emirates.It has 2 ports, one large international airport, a metro network and modern highways. In Dubai there is the tallest building in the world, as well as two complexes of artificial islands (globe, palm tree) that are visible from space.
Dubai Mall
Dubai Mall is considered by many to be the largest shopping mall in the world. It is located in a very central part of the city and includes the famous skyscraper that cost more than 20 billion dollars and has an inconceivable number of 1200 stores. The range of its various facilities is complemented by a luxury hotel, a cinema with 22 rooms, and approximately 120 restaurants and cafes. So you can spend an afternoon or an entire day having fun in this place that you will hardly forget.
Palm Islands
These are the artificial islands that have become symbols of Dubai and of the dizzying growth that its construction sector has experienced in recent decades. They are part of the group of commercial and residential infrastructure projects funded by the Sheikhs of the Emirates. They are located off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, in the Persian Gulf, and their construction required the creation of new land that added to the city about 900 kilometers of coastline. Their architecture is undoubtedly impressive and is worth a visit if you can afford to stay in a hotel along the islands.
The Dubai Fountain
The Dubai Music Fountain is another impressive creation. It is located inside an artificial lake, under the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in downtown Dubai. The fountain is illuminated by 6,600 lanterns and 25 color projectors, its length reaches 275 meters and launches water up to a height of 150 meters in the air. The fountain follows a specific choreography in the rhythm of traditional and modern music selections and is visible from all sides of the lake as well as from most of the adjacent buildings.
Burj Khalifa
It is the tallest tower in Dubai and at the same time it is the tallest building in the world, and its construction cost reached 1.2 billion euros. Its height reaches 828 meters and was considered by many to be an architectural marvel as it surpasses the previous record held by the Taipei 101 skyscraper with a height of 509.2 meters. Among other things, it has 160 floors, the fastest elevator operating at a speed of 64 km per hour and has a swimming pool on the 76th floor which is considered the highest in the world. It is definitely one of the reasons to visit Dubai.

It’s been called “the city of the cities”! Today it’s named Istanbul and is a modern metropolis, fifth in population in the world, while it’s also the financial and cultural center of Turkey. Food
We’ll begin with the most basic way of having fun on a trip, food. Nice is located in southern France and is the capital city of the French Riviera. The settlement of Terra Amata, the creation of which is estimated to be 400.000 years ago, has been found in the area of Nice!
It’s considered one of the oldest human settlements and one of the first to use fire.
Place Massena
Place Massena is the main square of Nice. Throughout its history, this square has been a place of political gatherings and a place for holding cultural festivals, celebrations and manifestations. In addition, it is in this square that the military parade of July 4th, the national day of France, culminates. You can spend a great time with your friends as you try the local food in the restaurants and the cafes that surround the square.
Hotel Le Negresco
Hotel Le Negresco is located on the beach of Nice right in front of the famous walkway “Promenade des Anglais”. The hotel was originally built to accommodate the wealthy guests of the Nice Public Casino. Unfortunately, WW1 interrupted its successful operation as the hotel was then used as a hospital. In 2003, the hotel was designated by the french government as a historic national building and today is a member of the association of major hotels in the world. Botanical Garden of Nice
The Botanical Garden of Nice covers an area of 3,5 hectares and is open to visitors daily at no charge. It contains more than 3.500 species of plants and the botanical part of the garden exceeds 6000 different species that covers all continents and different climates. The garden opened its gates in 1991 and since then it receives thousands of visitors every year. So, if you are a lover of nature or you’d like to take a walk in an idyllic setting then the botanical garden is a great choice to make!
Place Garibaldi
This specific square is located in a fairly central part of Nice and its architecture represents to a large extent the history and influences of the city. It is named after the famous Italian military and political leader Giuseppe Garibaldi. In the center of the square stands the statue of Garibaldi, who was a supporter of the union of Nice with Italy, the architecture is similar to that of many such places in Turin, and generally, the italian influence in the wider area is more than obvious. Since 2008, Nice has had an ultra-modern tram network and one of its central stations is located in Garibaldi Square. So, you can use this public transportation to get there easily and fast.
